1. Kendal Markets : The Indoor Market (open Mon - Sat 9 a.m to 4.30 p.m.) is on the upper level of the Westmorland Shopping Centre. The Street Markets operate every Wed and Sat 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
2. Westmorland Shopping Centre with multi-storey car park and bus station also cafes and restaurants to refresh the weary shopper!
3. Kendal Reptiles Entrance is through Hall's Pet Stores and collection includes tiny tree frogs through to 15ft. Pythons.

4. Webbs Garden Centre Established 1810, this is the "home" of the renowned "Webbs Wonderful Lettuce" variety. Acres of plants,                                                                 tropical and cold water fish, gifts and cafe. Mon - Sat. 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday 11 a.m to 5 p.m.

7. Lakeland Climbing Centre Indoor rock climbing centre including Britain's highest competition wall.
                                                       Beginners courses and ideal  activity on a wet day.
8. This location was formerly Briggs & Shoe Mines Lakeland's largest independent shoe shop but  this has closed.
9. Oddfellows Contemporary Art Gallery 12 large rooms in this building dating back to 1690 offering a wide selection of paintings, glass and sculpture for sale. Fine panelling in rooms, courtyard, sculpture garden and coffee shop. Mon - Sat 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Free Admission.

11. K Village Factory Shopping K Shoes were established in Kendal in 1842 by Robert Somervell, the letter K (for Kendal) becoming the familiar trade mark for his products. The site now houses a shopping village offering clothes and shoes from a wide range of famous brands at factory prices. A heritage centre, children's play area and restaurant plus plenty of parking complete the scene.
12. Kendal Parish Church 13th Century including Parr Family Chapel(Katherine Parr was sixth wife of Henry V111th) and many other items of interest. Facility for brass rubbing....ask steward. Bookstall. Mid March to end October 10.30 a.m. to 4.30 p.m.
